Lorenz Kocher is Architect and Civil Engineer. He studied at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich, and received his diploma in 2004. Subsequently he continued his studies at the Department of Civil Engineering, ETH Zurich, specializing in structural engineering and geotechnical engineering. In 2009 he received his Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with a thesis, which was awarded the ETH-Culmann Prize, on folded plate structures and the UNESCO conference building in Paris by Pier Luigi Nervi.
In 2015 he founded his own architecture and engineering firm in Chur, Switzerland
Lorenz Kocher is a member of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) and the Ordine ingegneri e architetti del Cantone Ticino (OTIA).
